Get to know Grazmec

Grazmec was founded on June 18, 1986 by the partners and owners, Antônio Alberi de Mattos and Maria Cristina de Mattos, starting out as a mechanical service provider in the city of Não-Me-Toque/RS in the Jardim district, next to the family home. The company's name comes from combining the initials of the couple's first daughter, Graziela de Mattos (GRAZ) and the word mechanics (MEC) to form GRAZMEC.

In 1994, Grazmec began selling seed treatment machines. The first models were made of metal, "on farm" models for the farm and with a dosing system using dosing cups, as they are still popularly known today. After receiving a number of national awards and gaining visibility, the need arose to expand its physical space. So, in 2001, the company moved to a new location and now has a new, large factory.

With this change, Grazmec was able to expand its product line even further and, in addition to seed treatment machines, the company began to manufacture products that help in the field through its Agricultural line. Constantly investing in new technologies, in 2013 the company launched the Industrial line, producing seed treatment machines at industrial level, with high seed and fertilizer flow rates, as well as a high level of technology, bringing Industry 4.0 to the field.

Grazmec works with seed treatment lines, On farm and Industrial, Agricultural line, Grain Storage line, and Seed Classifiers line. It offers services such as technical assistance and sales of parts. The company is present throughout the country through representatives and partner resellers, in addition to exporting to 36 countries, and is one of the main companies in the seed treatment machinery sector present in the market.

Treatment on Farm

Grazmec is a benchmark in the development of seed treatment technologies in the On Farm modality. This treatment consists of applying chemical ingredients and/or biological organisms to the seeds in order to suppress, control or ward off pathogens, insects or other pests. We have developed machines that provide homogeneous coverage of the grains, optimizing their germination properties and protecting them without causing damage.

Treatment Industrial

Grazmec also has special expertise when it comes to industrial treatment, one of the main stages in seed processing, using special high-tech equipment to apply fungicides, insecticides, micronutrients and nematicides, among others, resulting in greater production capacity. This process guarantees greater precision in the volume of spray, better grain coverage, less risk of operator poisoning and higher yields.

Agriculture

The company has a modern industrial unit specifically for the agricultural segment, offering a wide portfolio of products including chemical brushcutters, seed cleaning and sorting machines, reels, inlayers, grain extractors and foam markers, developed to facilitate work in the field and contribute to the rural producer's day-to-day life. The new Centauro sorters provide more agility and practicality for sorting seeds.
